Here are my last few photos from our time in Dubai. Unfortunately, I never made it to the beach but I did manage to get a view of the fabulous Burj Al Arab hotel. I enjoyed my time at the old souks so much, I thought it would be fun to visit one of the modern versions. The Souk Madinat Jumeirah is a posh version of a middle eastern marketplace offering shopping, restaurants and entertainment. You can even ride in a traditional abra along the waterways.
As the sun was setting we took a leisurely stroll before stopping for dinner overlooking the creek. I didn't do any actual shopping which was painful in a bazaar like this with so many interesting things to look see. But I brought home lots of photos as usual. Anything here catch your eye?
I would have loved to have one of those wood carved camels. That's all from our time in Dubai. It's such an interesting place with a great combination of the old and new.
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!! Do you have anything fun planned? Any travels?
