This was just a few steps from our hotel room and where we had breakfast each morning. I can highly recommend Damionos if you're visiting Mykonos. Splurge on the sea view rooms. I wish we would have.
Tzatziki at every meal. There are variations of the recipe but it's a classic meze of strained Greek yogurt with cucumber, garlic, salt, olive oil and vinegar.
The pool where we spent our afternoons in the sun. I wanna go back!
The water was every shade of blue, green and turquoise that you can imagine. And it changed throughout the day.
Seriously. The food was incredible. Fresh feta cheese and hummus with warm pita.
You must find this little specialty shop called Matsouka. They sell wine, condiments, dry nuts and sweets as well as traditional Greek Baklava and other pastries. They let you sample the treats as well. I wanted to buy one of everything there. Perfect place to stock up for a picnic on the beach.
Oh, and this! This was fresh feta cheese baked in a pastry with honey. Warm and gooey and sweet. I'm telling you we ate like Greek goddesses.
Seafood doesn't get much fresher than when you're on an island.
If you've actually looked at each of these photos then thank you. I'm so sad that I can't post 10 more times about our Girlfriend Getaway in Mykonos. Have you planned your Girls' trip yet?
