Berlin Christmas Markets 2015

If you celebrate Christmas, I hope that you had a wonderful one!  Apologies for the past few weeks of silence on the blog.  It's been one helluva year and as it came to an end, we were both just not really feeling like going all out.  We didn't even put up a tree or decorate at all.  Not in a Bah Humbug way but just in a quiet, restful way.  We had a very relaxed Christmas which is just what we needed. 

We spent one weekend visiting the Christmas Markets in Berlin with some dear friends.  What a beautiful city.  I would love to go back and spend more time exploring and eating.  I'm still in that quiet state of mind, so I won't be writing much today.  I'll just leave you with some photos from our time there. 

We just returned to London after five days with Matt's parents in Folkestone.  It was a lovely time of couch sitting and eating.  I'm off for the rest of this week and then back to work.  I have to admit that I'm glad the holiday season is coming to a close.  Next year we plan to make up for our lackadaisical approach this year.
