There are about seven stops on the Eating Prague tour, each more wonderful than the last. I don't want to explain them all to you because I want you to experience it for yourself. But I will show you some photographs and give you a few hints. Can you guess what everything is?
Seriously? On our very first stop. Have mercy.
Our guide Mirka was excited and knowledgeable about the food and culture of her city. The four hour tour took us through both old and new town Prague.
They keep the groups small, about 6-10 people so you can really get involved and enjoy each stop. The price is 75 euros for adults. It is completely worth it for a four hour walking tour, history and culture all while eating the equivalent of a generous full meal.
This was a particularly fantastic stop where we had probably the best soup I've ever eaten. You'll never guess what kind it is. Look at that menu. It's more like a book of magic.
You can't leave Prague without eating bread dumplings and braised beef, the Czech version of a traditional Sunday roast. So wonderful. I'm getting hungry now.
When you're in Prague, this food tour should be the first thing on your itinerary. It's a great why to get the lay of the city and will help you plan the rest of your time. You will also know exactly what you want to eat more of during the rest of your trip.
Do you love to experience a new city through your taste buds?
