Still a bit lost for words, but got some news that could potentially change things.
How's that for cryptic? I'll keep you posted as I know more.
In the mean time, here are some photos from Ghent, Belgium.
It doesn't really need words. What an incredible city?!?
We almost decided against popping over from Bruges on the train,
but I'm so glad that we did. It's straight out of a fairytale.
Probable the most picturesque European city I've seen so far.
Doesn't our lunch look divine?
Best meal-eaten-while-sitting-in-the-sun-people-watching-in-a-gorgeous-city EVER!
What city reminds you a a fairy tale?
Your lunch does look delicious. I just love the buildings along the canal, the architecture looks so charming!
ReplyDeleteNow I'm definitely glad we added Ghent to our itinerary! Although, I still think Innsbruck could give Ghent a run for its money in the most-picturesque-European-city category...
ReplyDeleteI hate cliffhangers! Why must you be so vague? :)
Hope its good news! That meal looks wonderful! I have always wanted to visit Ghent and now I know to go when it is warm out!
ReplyDeleteI hope you news is good news. Ghent look beautiful. I had two opportunities to go there last year and this year and both times my diary was just mad. Wished I had gone now.

This looks gorgeous, I'd love to go there. We were in Dubrovnik last week and that's pretty fairy-tale-ish too! I'm intrigued to hear your news, I hope all is well x
ReplyDeleteBelgium has just recently been added to my travel list and Ghent will definitely be a city I would love to see. Thanks for sharing these beautiful photos!
ReplyDeleteWe're doing Bruges in October and I was considering jumping over to Ghent... maybe I'll have to now :)
ReplyDeleteWOW!! Looks fantastic - v similar to Amsterdam? Lovely x
ReplyDeleteLooks like a gorgeous city! I must admit I've not given Belgium much thought before, but I'm swiftly revising that oversight :)
ReplyDeleteLovely photos!
ReplyDeleteI hope everything is okay my friend! Lovely pics as always :) x
ReplyDeletePlanning a trip now! :)

We adored Ghent. It is so charming and the people are so nice. If you go back I highly recommend De Vitrine for dinner (if you are not a picky eater), it was one of the best meals of our whole trip (and we visited to 3 Michelin's in France).
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos! Ghent looks like it's worth a trip :)
ReplyDeletewow Ghent is so beautiful! I visited Brussels & Bruges last year, and probably Ghent will be my first away-from-UK travel for this year. Looking forward to it :D
