The Sunday Currently

After a long break I'm back to blogging like crazy.  I'm trying to get caught up so I've been doing about five posts a week.  I've been posting a lot about places, but I don't want to lose that personal touch.

I  haven't written much about the day to day stuff.  I've been missing that more personal connection and I wonder if you have, too.  So, I've decided to start posting a Sunday Currently update whenever I get the urge.  Just to update you on what's going on in life.

Watching.   I don't know what I'd do without Hulu and Netflix.  I've started watching the new season of The Bachelor.  Looks like it's going to be true to form and a train wreck.  I can't not watch.  A friend suggested that I check out The Good Wife and now I'm working my way through each season.  And last night we went to see American Hustle.  It was okay, I guess.  Great acting, but a bit indulgent.  Ninety minutes of slow story building and thirty minutes of good stuff.

Listening.  I've been listening to the new Bridget Jones book on my phone.  I just can't get into it.  I've also been listening to my Pandora station featuring Sting.  I love him!

Fretting.  I had some basic blood work done last week for a wide range of vague symptoms.  I go back this week for results.  I'm sure they are just going to confirm what I already know.  Perimenopause.  How the hell did that happen?

Reading.  I'm loving Liz Gilbert's new novel, The Signature of All Things. She is such an inspirational woman.  I'm also reading all of the blogs on my Bloglovin feed. I'm so bad about commenting, but I love reading what everyone is up to.

Planning. I'm getting so excited about our trip to Iceland in three weeks!  I'm getting antsy to go somewhere.

Studying.  My initial Spousal Visa will expire in a few months, so it's time to apply for my Indefinite Leave to Remain.  So I've started studying for my Life in the UK test.

Enjoying.  The sun is out today and it's so pretty.  Knock wood but we've had some really decent weather this winter.

So, I guess that's about it.  Nothing too exciting.

What's going on with you?
