All of the blogs that I read are fervently wrapping up 2013
and kicking off 2014 with recaps, lists, resolutions, revamps and goals.
I got nothin'.
I took lots of time off in December which I must admit I needed.
Only 10 posts after a whopping 23 in November. Shameful.
Plus, we had a ridiculous amount of fun on New Year's Eve and I'm still recovering.
So, I'm just going to ease myself back into blogging slowly.
Here are some photos from our lovely Christmas in Folkestone with Matt's parents.
We celebrated for four days with food and drink.
Matt surprised me with a tripod and his parents gave me a Tassimo which I'm very excited about.

I promise I'll start picking up some steam as the days progress.
I have been editing photos like crazy and have some exciting posts planned for January.
I'm also planning our next London Bloggers Afternoon Tea for the end of the month.
The first one was so much fun and I can't wait!
Please send me an email if you are interested in the details.
I hope that you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Years Celebration.
Cheers to 2014!!
Ohhh all of that food looks delish, and I do love your gloittery santa. Enjoy the break - it may be a while before you get a another.
ReplyDeleteI'm still recovering as well!! Gotta love overdoing it on New Years ;)
ReplyDeleteYour Christmas looks fab and the tassimo sounds amazing!! Happy New Year x
ReplyDelete10 posts??? Shameful? Hardly!! I only wrote 4 :( But to be honest, if you've got nothing to write or are having a difficult time writing (I have been struggling with a certain one for two months now), then a break is needed! Put me on the afternoon tea list! Hopefully I will be in town :) Happy new year Selena!
ReplyDeleteI don't actually need to send you an email to let you know I'm interested, do I? :o) You already know I'll be there!!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had an awesome Christmas and taking some days off helps you come back with more energy, right? ;)
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year, Selena! Glad to have you back blogging after a good break. I'm certainly interested in coming to the next London blogger meet up since I missed the last one.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year, Jade! It feels good to be back. I'm still working on the venue and date for the Tea, but I'll let you know asap. I miss you! We need to get together again soon for coffee or a drink. xoxo
ReplyDeleteI really needed that break and now I'm back with more energy! You amaze me with your writing! I wish I had your inspiration. It shows on your blog how much writing is a part of you. xoxo
ReplyDeleteStill working on pinning down a date & venue. I don't think anyone was answering their emails in December. Can't wait to see you!
ReplyDeleteYou are definitely on the list! I would love to meet you face to face. I feel like I already know you :D
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year, Holly. I just had a cappucino from the Tassimo and dealing with a major caffeine buzz.
ReplyDeleteWe had a ridiculously fun night!!! Happy New Year!!
ReplyDeleteVery true! Happy New Year!!! xoxo
ReplyDeleteYou are just too kind Selena. I really do not believe my writing to be inspirational but I do it from my heart and I believe that maybe helps :) I would really love to see you one day here in Krakow and maybe have some tea together. And - big wish/dream of mine - maybe once even at a blog conference. Soon! :) kisses and hugs
ReplyDeleteYes! I will text tomorrow and see if we can organise a date before I go to Australia in Feb. xx
