Coast and Castle

*I received a complimentary tour from Dublin Bus for the purposes of review.

Editing all of these photos from Ireland is so bittersweet.
So many gorgeous sights, I just ache to be back there.

Here are some photos from the Dublin Bus North Coast and Castle Tour.
The three-hour tour with live commentary takes you to Malahide Castle
and then along the North Coast ending with a short stop in Howth.
(The price for adults is €24 and €12 for children 5-14.)

I'm starting with the pictures from Howth because it was just gorgeous and I wanted to stay.
And I saw some seals!  I was so excited!

Along with a man in purple trunks swimming in that frigid water. Brrr!
We saw swimmers everywhere that we went.
Apparently, a cold dip is supposed to be very good for your health.

I hope you enjoy the photos.  I'm having such a hard time narrowing them down.
So you will have to forgive me for the photo heavy post.

Have you ever taken a dip in the cold Irish sea?
(I think I need to add this to my bucket list.)

  2. Ohhhhh the seal!!! I just want to give it a kiss on it's little wet nose!

I love all of the pictures. I can't wait to see Ireland for myself! A cold dip in the sea will likely NOT make its way onto the agenda though. Unless it means I get to kiss a seal...

  4. Beautiful!! And definitely not too many photos! All so lovely!! I love seeing sea life!! I get giddy over seeing seals, sea lions, sea otters, whales, dolphins, etc. I'm known to cry at Sea World!! There, I admitted it!! Ha!! I'm aching for Ireland too as I edit our photos! *Sigh*

I'm not crazy about cold frigid water, so I'll leave the brisk cold dips to others! :)

  8. He was adorable! There were several swimming around all of the fishing boats. Howth is so picturesque. I'd love to go back and stay for a few days. Do your cousins have an extra bed? :D

  9. They usually do the tour in the evening which I'm sure gives it a completely different feel. I'd be curious to do it again with a full bus and at night time.

  10. They told us October was the best time to go swimming because the water was at its warmest after the summer months. I wasn't willing to test it out.

  11. Definitely not too much! Or we could mix it up and visit new places. I am always up for anything :)
