I have a new love to tell you about this week.
Remember several months ago, I told you that we were going to Spain and Morocco.
I haven't blogged about it yet, but it's just because I took so many photos,
I didn't even know where to start.
When we happened upon a Spanish food & wine festival on our way home a few weeks ago,
it inspired me to get busy and tell you about Spain.
So, I'll be posting about Spain all this week.
So, I'll be posting about Spain all this week.
But first I'll tell you about Rioja Tapas Fantasticas 2013 in London.
We enjoyed it so much the first day, that we returned again the second day.
It was set up in Potter's Field and admission was free.
And for only £3.50 you could get a wine glass and tokens for four wine tastings.
Wine, tapas, music, workshops and dancing all in celebration of Spain's greatest wine region.
I discovered my new favorite wine, Rioja Rosado served ice cold.
Wine by the glass was between £3-5 and the tapas were all about the same.
I'll let the photos do the talking on this one.
London is the best place to people watch!
Check out these cool cats.
I can't explain them, but they were having a grand old time dancing and posing for photos.
And this is Kin & Dainora. They are fabulous dancers and were there both days.
They were just in the audience enjoying the music and dancing. A smiling crowd soon gathered around them. You couldn't help but watch them, they were completely in the moment. I would so love to be able to dance like that!
Yes, I went up and asked them their names. They were so wonderful and gave me permission to show you this video of them dancing.
This was the sixth year for the festival and it's going straight into my new calendar for next year.
Follow Riojas Tapas Fantasticas on Twitter or Facebook for updates.
So now I'm ready to tell you about our three days in Spain.
It was absolutely not long enough and I loved every second of it!
The food and the people, the natural beauty and the architecture
all combine into the most fabulous country.
So grab a bottle of Spanish wine and read along this week.
¡Salud!
¡Salud!
