Bring Me Sunshine

I guess you could call it a whirlwind romance
but I knew pretty quickly that Matthew was the man for me.

I knew that life would never be the same and would certainly never be dull.
(If you've seen him dance, you know what I mean.)

The very first thing that drew me to him was his confidence and humor.
He's the smartest and funniest man that I know.
He also has a heart of gold.

And in just two years, we've experienced so much fun and adventure together.
I can't wait to see what the future holds.

The theme for our wedding was
Oh, The Places We Will Go.

So, I thought I'd share a few pictures from our wedding.

And, yes.  We did the Chicken Dance.

The more I watch British TV, the more I realize where my husband's
distinctive sense of humor comes from.
There is a famous British comic duo called Morecambe and Wise.
This song from their show could have been written for Matthew.
It's exactly how I feel about him.

Bring Me Sunshine
by Arhur Kent
Lyrics by Sylvia Dee

Bring me Sunshine, in your smile,
Bring me Laughter, all the while.

In this world where we live, there should be more happiness,
So much joy you can give, to each brand new bright tomorrow.

Make me happy, through the years,
Never bring me, any tears.

Let your arms be as warm as the sun from up above.
Bring me fun, bring me sunshine, bring me love.

Bring me Sunshine, in your eyes,
Bring me rainbows, from the skies.

Life's too short to be spent having anything but fun,
We can be so content, if we gather little sunbeams.

Be light-hearted, all day long,
Keep me singing, happy songs.

Let your arms be as warm as the sun from up above.
Bring me fun, bring me sunshine, bring me love.

 Happy Two Year Anniversary, Dahling!
 Happy Birthday, too.

Bring me fun, bring me sunshine, bring me love.
xoxo
