Tea Time for Bloggers

Last Tuesday, I had the pleasure of attending a Blogger's Tea hosted by Laura from Happy Homemaker UK
It was my first proper British Tea experience.

Eleven lovely bloggers met at Sketch,
an amazing London food destination with five venues under one roof and two Michelin Stars.
We were treated to afternoon tea in The Glade with it's rattan furniture and fluffy cushions.

We started with a glass of champagne and then were served sandwiches, scones and sweets to accompany our tea.

The food was even better than it looked!

Our two hour tea easily turned into three hours of girl talk.
We were then given a quick tour of the venue.

The East Bar looks like a terrific place for a cocktail... very Austin Powers.  I think I'm the last of the group to post about our Blogger's Tea.  You can visit their sites to read and see more.

The food and venue was wonderful but by far the highlight was meeting these fantastic women!
Let me introduce you, in case you haven't yet had the pleasure.  From left to right...

Robynne (Robynne's Nest), Liz (The Snowdrop Project), Louise (Love & Lilac), me, Belinda (Wild Acre),  Laura (Happy Homemaker UK), Sarah and her adorable baby (Modern Country Style), Charlotte (A Cottage in Totteridge), Becky (A Yank in Yorkshire) and Gesci (English as a Second Language soon to be Peach & Thistle) and not pictured, Sarah (Sarah-Jane Down the Lane)

It was so exciting to meet these bloggers face to face.  I feel like I know several of them after reading their blogs for the past year.  And now I have a few more favorites to add to my blogroll.   This is one of the best things to come from this blog... new connections.

Thank you, Ladies, for a wonderful afternoon.

xoxo
