Fair warning. Ya'll are in trouble.
In an effort to prove that TE does actually listen to me,
he gave me the best birthday gift ever!
I can't tell you how many times we've been in an English garden or in the countryside and I've mentioned that I would love to have a macro lens.
It's a Tamron 60mm Macro 1:1 for the Nikon.
I spent about 15 minutes in his parent's garden
and look what the camera came up with.
Pretty cool, huh?
So, now my photo heavy blog will have even more photos.
I'm so excited to figure this thing out.
Along with getting a job, my goal for this Fall is to take some Photography classes.
Any recommendations for classes in London?
xoxo

Beautiful photos!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Corinne! I can't wait to experiment some more.
DeleteSo pretty! It's amazing how the quality of a photo can change so much by changing the lens.

DeleteOh my!! I do love macro photography and your pics are fantastic!! My favourites are the 2nd and the 9th photo, just amazing detail. You'll probably find that you can crop your photo's for an even closer look! I can't wait to see more. What a great present, Happy Birthday! It was my baby's birthday on Sunday too, he turned 7 (not so baby any more).
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Lisha! I need to figure out how to really get a good focus. And thanks for the birthday wishes! Happy late bday to your baby!!
DeleteWow! These photos are great!! The spider webs and those pink flowers (freeshias?) are just fabulous. You've made me want a macro lens now but I think I'll go ahead and buy a zoom lens first. Sorry for all the comments but just catching up with your busy 10 days!
ReplyDeleteI love your comments, Emm!! Thank you!!!
