Leaping Lizards! We're off to Amsterdam!

After a little over an hour on the wonderful EuroStar, 

we changed over to a European Intercity train to continue our journey.

Soon we were whizzing past brightly colored tulip fields. 

 Is that a windmill?

We were in Amsterdam for the weekend!!

I'm afraid that's about it for now.   I'm tired!  (pronounced "tard," in my best Southern drawl)

We had a wonderful, busy four days!

You'll be happy to hear that I have over 500 pictures to sort through.  (No groaning, please)

 I'll be sharing more of Amsterdam and Brussels with you as the week goes on.  

But after a 12 hour sleep, I'm still not quite recovered.  

So for now, I will leave you with just a taste.  

We stumbled upon this sweet little sculpture garden as we explored the Leidseplein.

I think the lizards are bronze, but can't be sure some weren't real.

I kept catching movement out of the corner of my eye.
